This installation utilizes recycled newspaper as a fiber for a tapestry mural. Paper strips are stacked, layered and threaded into construction safety fencing. The placement and density of the strips is varied along its length to mix light into the pattern. The strips added during the exhibit by anonymous participants created an evolving 'story' over time. This artwork hung on the 2nd floor railing adjacent to the dormant printing presses at the New Haven Register building. Commissioned by Artspace New Haven for City Wide Open Studios Alternate Space.
